We looked at famous landscape art which uses perspective.
We used the vanishing point to create 3D effects! Updated: Here is the link! Once, a young girl was playing in the attic of her grandmother’s house. The girl in question was very curious thus when she saw a mattered old cardboard box in the corner of the room she had to open it. Curious, she skipped over to the box. Excitedly, she picked the box up but when she opened the lid the ground shook and purple swirls came from the haunted box. Amazing bright gas swirls surrounded the girl and she was throne across the room. But the haunting had only just begun, and it was a long long way from over.
Last week, we actually gave out 3 class awards: Cailen and Curtis both achieved more than 20000 points on Mathletics, whilst Lara won the class design for Nick Sharratt's pants (see the previous post). Brilliant effort! In addition, most of the class got their first Bronze certificate in Mathletics! Well done - keep practising everyone! After serious internet problems this week, we are up and running again. On Tuesday we celebrated World Book Day with Nick Sharratt coming in to talk about, amongst other things, pants and socks! |
